The mountainous regions of Western Bulgaria and the Rilo-Rhodope massif will see significant cloudiness before noon, accompanied by light snowfall in some areas. However, the clouds are expected to break and reduce by the afternoon, giving way to mostly sunny weather. At higher altitudes, temperatures will remain frigid, with maximums of minus 2° at 1,200 meters and minus 6° at 2,000 meters.
Along the Black Sea coast, morning fog will reduce visibility in certain areas. Cloud cover will be substantial before noon but will diminish around midday, leading to sunny afternoons. Coastal temperatures will be slightly milder, with highs of 4-6°. Sea temperatures will range from 8-10°, with waves reaching up to 1-2 bales.
