Cloud of colored dust from the James Webb Space Telescope. The Pillars of Creation photographed

The James Webb Space Telescope photographed an image of the “Pillars of Creation”, a cloud of dust in space.

This time, the James Webb Space Telescope observed the dense cloud of hydrogen and dust in the Eagle Nebula in the Serpent Constellation, about 6,500 light-years from Earth.

“I KNEW THE PHOTOS WOULD BE WONDERFUL”

European Space Agency Senior Scientific Advisor Prof. Mark McCaughrean “I’ve been studying the Eagle Nebula since the 1990s. I’ve been trying to see the young stars inside the columns in the previously recorded Hubble Space Telescope image. I knew the James Webb Telescope images would be fascinating.” used phrases
NASA launched the world’s largest and most advanced space telescope, James Webb, into space on December 25, 2021, replacing the Hubble Space Telescope.
