Closure of the Hospitality Industry and End of the Perimeter Closure

Asturias prolongs 15 days plus the closing of the hostelry in the region. This was announced by the government of Principality who presides Adrián Barbón during his last appearance, through the Health Counselor Pablo Fernandez. In addition, it announces that this Thursday will be the last day of the perimeter closure in Gijón, Oviedo and the rest of the areas in which it was in force.

The measure that prolongs the closure of the hospitality industry for 15 more days in Asturias has not done anything good to this sector, which prepares mobilizations and protests for this friday. From this side, other types of regulations are requested to prevent this extension of the closure that suffocates an increasingly damaged sector since the beginning of the pandemic.

It was Pablo Fernández, Minister of Health, who was in charge of announcing the new measure, while adding that next Wednesday, December 9, they will review again to check if it is possible to carry out any modification before the 15 new closing days established by the Principality.

In turn, the Asturian government announced the end of perimeter closure in Gijón, Oviedo and the rest of the areas where it was established, such as Avilés, Langreo, San Martín del Rey Aurelio and Laviana. The end of this measure will last until this Thursday, the last day it will be in force.
