Closed Trial to Discuss ‘Water Blockade’ of Occupied Crimea: Innovations in Action

Innovation in action

The “trial” in Russia to consider the case of the so-called “water blockade” of the occupied Crimea was made closed, since it will also discuss the water supply of “security facilities.”

About it reports Russian agency “Interfax” with reference to a meeting of the “arbitration court” taking place in the occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

The corresponding petition was submitted by the occupation authorities located in Crimea – the so-called “council of ministers”, as well as “ministries” and “departments” involved as third parties.

“The government representative explained that this is due to the need to consider materials on the work, including of sensitive facilities,” Interfax reports.

Later, the occupiers also expect to recover “damage” incurred from the energy, food, and transport “blockades.”

As noted in the message, at the moment water is not flowing into Crimea again due to the “destruction” of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station.

We remind you:

On the night of June 6, 2023, Russian occupiers blew up the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station, destroying the turbine hall and the dam.

After this, the so-called “chairman” of the Melitopol district of the Zaporozhye region, Andrei Siguta, appointed by the occupiers, stated that water was no longer flowing into the North Crimean Canal from the Kakhovka Reservoir.
