The Public Prosecutor of Appeal in Beirut, Judge Zaher Hamadeh, gave a signal to leave William Noun and Peter Bou Saab under investigation, who appeared before the General Directorate of State Security in Ramleh Al-Bayda, after they were left from the Berber El-Khazen barracks in Verdun in connection with what happened last Tuesday in front of the Palace of Justice.
Representatives George Aqis and Melhem Khalaf were present with Noun and Bou Saab at the State Security.

After leaving him, Noun said: “If my voice disturbs them, then this means that it has arrived, and our voice is the voice of truth, and we are under the roof of the law, and we demand the justice of August 4.”

For his part, Representative Aqis said in front of the State Security Directorate: “The battle is to show the truth about the port explosion, and we are not in a confrontation with the judiciary, no matter how wrong it is against us. Noun, and we are here to establish the truth, and the families of the martyrs want the truth and are not amateurs of demonstration.”

In turn, MP Khalaf called for “the course of the investigation into the port file must be corrected, and the enthusiasm to investigate the families of the port victims must be the same in achieving justice and the judiciary is a source of reassurance.”
