STraffic has been disrupted in Bad Großpertholz since the beginning of July. The end of the roadblock on the B41 through the town is now visible: from September 2nd, the big move will be history.

According to construction manager Christoph Weber (Swietelsky), the entire enclosure can be built – even for trucks. Swietelksy partially upgraded and upgraded the storm water drain and laid the fiber optic cable. The costs amount to approximately 755,000 euros, and state and federal funding is expected.

The bridge at the beginning of the town from Saint Martin was renovated by the Zwettl bridge maintenance department. “The B41 had to be closed for this. We immediately used this barrier to upgrade our canal and streams,” said Mayor Manfred Grill. The people patiently accepted the long traffic delays, but there were complaints from people passing by outside the community.

The closure with the transfer of car traffic via Mühlbach, Nonndorf and Bruderndorf to Karlstift as well as truck traffic via Großschönau, Groß Gerungs and Karlstift will be in place again in 2025. Grill: “The road through Bad Großpertholz is being upgraded. We are also installing a new footpath and cycle track.”
