Close to the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra

Exactly three weeks ago, in addition to the new Galaxy S22 series, Samsung also launched three new tablets in the S8 series, which will take over for the critically acclaimed Galaxy Tab S7 series, which we, among other things, know from Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+.

With the new Tab S8 series, Samsung launches for the first time an Ultra version, which we have just seen in “live” for the first time here at Mobile World Congress.

The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra comes with a 14.6. Screen, which makes it larger than many laptops, furthermore it offers WQXGA + resolution (2960 x 1848 pixels). The screen is an S-AMOLED with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

Like the new mobiles, the Galaxy Tab S8 is also made of armor aluminum, and measures only 5.5 mm, so thin that you can almost cut yourself on it.

Under the hood you will find Samsung’s own Exynos 2200 processor running Android 12.

The battery is 11200 mAh, and in addition to fast charging of up to 45 W, the Galaxy Tab S8 also supports the possibility of being used as a kind of powerbank, by using the tablet to fast charge a Samsung Galaxy S22 mobile via USB.

Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra comes with two camera lenses both front and rear – 13 mp + 6 mp ultra-wide angle on the back and 12 mp + 12 mp ultra-wide angle on the front. Among the configurations, one has resp. 8, 12 and 16 GB RAM as well as 128, 256 or 512 GB built-in storage, which can be expanded by up to an additional 1 TB via microSD card.
