The municipality is now informing its citizens via its own social media channel. “The Deutsch-Wagramer should be informed in a timely, quick and competent manner,” said ÖVP Mayor Ulla Mühl-Hittinger. The figures show that the new offer has been accepted: the recently launched Facebook page quickly reached around 700 subscribers.
“We have evaluated and understood the requirements of the time. Your own Facebook page is a first step towards an adapted communication world, ”adds the city boss. A dedicated team in the city office takes care of quick and competent communication and information for the subscribers.
“We observed very closely in advance, adjusted structures and learned. We also want to entertain and get in touch with the citizens, ”explains the city’s social media manager, Thomas Pfeiffer.
It will not be the only social media presence: We are currently working on a presence in the well-known Instagram network.
