Jakarta, Selular.ID – A few months ago, there was news that Samsung would be releasing a new TWS device, namely the Galaxy Buds 2. Then now, leaks about the detailed specifications have been revealed.
The wireless headset, which will be introduced at the Galaxy Unpacked event next week, will bring improvements from the Galaxy Buds +. These improvements include features such as ANC (active noise cancellation).
Meanwhile, another leak coming from Snoopy, has revealed that the Galaxy Buds 2 will pack a Bluetooth 5.2 chip. Additionally, Samsung’s all-new wireless earbuds will come with SSC, AAC, SBC codec support.
However, there is another possibility that it could be that Samsung will use Bluetooth LE audio with a Low Complexity Communication Codec. Bluetooth SIG launched the LC3 launched earlier this year. Apart from ANC, the Buds 2 are still expected to feature a transparency mode as each earbud will reportedly come with three microphones.
Like their predecessors, the new earbuds will also feature a dual-driver setup, along with a 6.3mm tweeter and 11mm woofer for a superior listening experience. The Galaxy Buds 2 are also expected to provide 8 hours of battery life on a single charge when ANC is turned off.

In addition, it is also said that a quick charge of just 5 minutes can provide up to 55 minutes of battery life on this device. Furthermore, the Buds 2 are also reportedly IPX7 certified for water resistance.
There will also be four color options which include white, purple, olive green, and black. This new TWS made by Samsung will later compete with competitors in its segment, namely the OnePlus Buds Pro and Beats Studio Buds from Apple.
