Los Angeles (AP) – George Clooney (59) and Julia Roberts (53) are close friends in real life, but in their next film together the two Hollywood stars will play divorced spouses.
The shooting of the romantic comedy “Ticket To Paradise” should start this year, as the industry portals “Variety” and “Deadline.com” report. “A joyful thing,” commented the British director and screenwriter Ol Parker (51, “Mamma Mia, Here We Go Again!”) On his new, top-class project on Twitter.
In “Ticket To Paradise” the ex-spouses travel to Bali together to prevent their daughter from marrying too young. They believe their own lightning wedding 25 years ago was a mistake.
The two Oscar winners have stood together in front of the camera several times. After the gangster films “Ocean’s Eleven” and “Ocean’s Twelve” they starred in the financial thriller “Money Monster”, directed by Jodie Foster.
