Clippers beat Minnesota for two straight wins for the first time this season

Paul George had 32 points and eight assists, Reggie Jackson had another 29, his best record of the season, and the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 126-115 on Wednesday.

George made 11 of 18 shots, including 4 of 8 from long range, and Los Angeles had its best night of the season in shooting. The Clippers thus won their second game in a row.

They hit 60.3% from the field and set their best record with 21 3-pointers in 36 attempts.

Nicholas Batum had 20 points and Terance Mann had 17 off the bench, his best record of the year, including three triples.

Anthony Edwards contributed 29 points for Minnesota, which has lost four of five games. Karl-Anthony Towns finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds.

The Wolves played without D’Angelo Russell, who was sidelined with a sprained right ankle.

Minnesota also had one of its best shooting nights overall. He finished with 45.7%, hitting 14 of 40 behind the arc in the first of two straight games between these two teams.
