Clio Zammatteo, entrepreneur and influencer known as Clio Make Up, cried in an outburst on Instagram: “I’m going through a period of myself…, a mix of many things accumulated over time”
Tears on social media. After those of Chiara Ferragni (on TV) guest of Fabio Fazio with teary eyes in several moments of the interview, even Clio Zammatteo, entrepreneur and influencer known as Clio Make Up, was moved, indeed, she actually started crying, in an outburst on Instagram.
«The truth is that perhaps the last year has been the most difficult of my life – said Clio MakeUp in a series of Stories in which she was responding to some curiosities of her followers – I’m going through a shit time. I throw myself into work headlong. I’m sad but I try not to show it. The reason? It’s not easy, it’s a mix of many things accumulated over time and situations that I’m experiencing.”
However, it is not the first time that Clio has shown herself in tears on Instagram. In March 2023 Zammatteo said he “no longer feels comfortable in the world of online beauty”. Clio maintained that to be successful on the web it is not enough to be yourself, but you have to be bad and high-performing.
Zammatteo, 41 years old, originally from Veneto, launched his brand in 2017 with lipsticks, then burst out in tears: «I have to fight to talk about the product, I struggle because on the other side there are those who have ways of communicating that go as opposed to me. If I had known this in 2008, I wouldn’t have even started. I am an entrepreneur who feels this burden, that of being a leader who must fight for the people who work with her, people who see me as fragile and afraid of the outside world. Over the years I have never made comparisons because I have my own path and I would like to move forward, do the things that make me feel good. Throwing myself into the bedlam of fighting doesn’t make me feel good. The way of communicating today has changed. People are afraid to tell the truth.”
