Despite this reorientation of the strategy, the medical authorities of the region do not rule out going towards new measures to strengthen the fight and especially prevention. “Last Friday, we held an evaluation meeting with the administration of the regional hospital center and the staff, conclusions will be drawn to move forward,” she concluded.
As recently as Saturday, specialists from the El Hadji Ibrahima Niass regional hospital center warned the populations who continue to organize religious ceremonies, baptisms or weddings that bring together people in a context where community cases abound in Kaolack.
