At 18, Paul Jenft won this Saturday the first senior final of his career at the Difficulty World Cup in Villars, Switzerland. The Chambéry escalade member took 6th place in the competition.
Very close to his first medal. Junior Paul Jenft shone in his first senior difficulty final. The six-time European youth champion, qualified in 8th position, was the first to hit the Swiss wall. The tricolor climber avoided the first trap after ten takes, where the two Japanese fell.
Only, the native of Grenoble finished upside down ten lengths later. Evil took him. Paul Jenft could not rest, he ended up slipping to the 26th echelon, five catches of a bronze medal.
