Climate protest: Blockades in Frankfurt from the last generation

Activists from “Last Generation” cause blockades at nine locations in Frankfurt am Main. It’s not the group’s first protest.

In Frankfurt, sit-ins can cause traffic jams, obstructions and delays. Activists have announced a number of blockades on motorways and major roads for Monday, which began Tuesday morning. the police informed that demonstrators sat down on the roadway or even glued themselves there. Twelve people have been taken into custody, police said.

Blockades in Frankfurt due to climate protests by “Last Generation”

The protest is carried out by the climate activists of the group “Last Generation”. “Stop the fossil madness,” read the posters. The group repeatedly attracts attention in Frankfurt and in other regions of Germany with protests about climate change.
