Offenbach (dpa / lhe) – In accordance to preliminary data from the German Meteorological Provider (DWD), this summer season is the sunniest in Hesse due to the fact logging started off more than 70 many years back. According to former measurements and including forecasts up to the stop of the month, there are 857 hrs of sunshine this summer months, according to meteorologist Andreas Friedrich of the DWD in Offenbach. The past document was established in the summer months of 2003 with 814.4 hrs. According to the DWD, a highest of 817 hrs of sunshine was also recorded nationwide.
The DWD will current its preliminary balance for summertime 2022 on Tuesday. The weather provider has been recording sunshine hours considering that 1951. Temperatures and rainfall have been recorded constantly because 1881. The meteorological fall commences on September 1.
