Climate march on May 9 for a real climate law!

Climate law: the Senate can and must do better

Raising the ambition of the climate law: this should not be too difficult, as Emmanuel Macron, the government and the parliamentary majority have heartily reduced the measures of the Citizens’ Convention. Less than 10% of them were included in the government’s bill, and the debates in the National Assembly only allowed one thing: to curb the democratic debate. Indeed, 20 to 25% of the 7,000 amendments tabled were deemed inadmissible. Then, the accelerated procedure and the planned legislative time barely allowed deputies·es of the opposition to defend those who had crossed this first barrier.

Together, we say “Never again”!

Social justice and the environment go hand in hand: we demonstrate it with the alliance Never again, the collective of unions and environmental organizations, united for over a year to counter the speeches and actions of the government, which uses the health crisis as a pretext, above all to change nothing to an economic and productive model that has lasted too long. In Lyon, Montpellier, Paris, Rouen and Toulouse, Greenpeace will march behind the collective’s banners.

This Facebook event lists up-to-date gatherings. The list can be viewed without an account connected to Facebook.

Climate law? Thank you but NO THANKS!

No, thank you: that’s all the Climate Law as proposed by the government tells us. Here is the video illustration. We have warned you: looking at it, you could be very angry and not resist the urge to participate in the Climate Walk this Sunday!
