Climate Change Fuels Unusual September Heatwaves in UK and Europe

Climate change is likely to be responsible for the unusually hot September weather in the UK and across much of Europe.

A series of heatwaves have been declared by the British Met Office for much of the country and a warning has been issued, signaling an increased risk for the elderly and people with health problems.

Meteorologist Claire Nasir claims that the continuing trend of improving temperature records shows that the planet is heating up, Nova TV reported.

Daytime temperatures in the UK are expected to reach 33C, which could last for six consecutive days, which would break another record for the UK.
