NEW MARKET. The climate caricature exhibition at the Schinko company in Neumarkt was opened in the presence of numerous guests and with music by the duo “yesterdaydreamer”. The exhibition can be viewed until November 29th.
On November 8th, the Neumarkt Energy Association invited people to a vernissage of a rare kind: As part of the “Climate Caricature on Tour” project supported by the Austrian Climate and Energy Fund, forty selected caricatures on the subject of climate change and climate justice are in the Schinko loft until November 29th to admire with free entry. The exhibition is currently touring throughout Austria through selected climate and energy model regions and is now stopping at the Freistadt energy district in the Mühlviertel heartland.
Almost a hundred guests came to the opening and examined the international works, which illuminate the challenges of the future in a humorous way. The critical songs by the singer/songwriter duo “yesterdaydreamer” accompanied the evening, which certainly made some people think. With financial support from the state of Upper Austria and in cooperation with the Ramlwirt cultural association, an exciting supporting program can also be offered: On November 27th, at 7:30 p.m., Seppi Neubauer will come to the exhibition space with his cabaret “Heiße Liebe” and on November 28th you can Listen to satirical texts by Christian Schacherreiter with musical accompaniment.
