Cliff Richard releases new album in honor of 80th birthday | NOW

Cliff Richard will release his new album on October 30th Music… The Air That I Breathe from. The singer says in a statement on Tuesday that he is celebrating his eightieth birthday (on October 14) with the record.

“I still remember thinking I would not make it to my fifties and here I am 80 years old and I am also releasing a new album”, Richard writes. The singer recorded the album together with artist friends he admires. There are duets with Bonnie Tyler, Albert Hammond, The Bellamy Brothers and Sheila Walsh.

The two were new compositions for the twelve track album Falling For You in PS Please written. Richard also recorded new versions of classics from The Beatles and The Bee Gees, among others.

Richard announced last year to go on tour in honor of his eightieth birthday. However, these concerts have been postponed for the time being due to the outbreak of the corona virus.

Richard had his breakthrough in 1958 and has since released over forty studio albums.
