Cleveland celebrates Cavaliers comeback in US NBA

Washington, Nov 14 (Prensa Latina) Cleveland fans are still celebrating the victory of the CAvaliers 91-89 over the Boston Celtics on the most recent day of the National Basketball Association (NBA) of the United States.

In their fiefdom at Rocket Mortgage Field House, coach John-Blair Bickerstaff’s men came from behind and pulled off a dream comeback to take the win and stay in the fight for the top of the tournament’s Eastern Conference.

The difference of 11 points in the first quarter (9-20), presaged that the defeat was going to be overwhelming, and thus it remained until the fourth and last quarter, in which the home team lost 62-74.

Darius Garland, Evan Mobley and the Spanish Ricky Rubio joined forces to certify the victory, thanks to 22 units from the first, 19 from the second and 16 from the Catalan player.

For those defeated, the best scorer was Dennis Schroder with 28 cards, escorted by Jayson Tatum (21) and Robert Williams, author of a double-double of 12 points and 16 rebounds.

After the success, the Cavaliers are fourth in the Conference with nine victories and five failures, just one game behind the capital’s Washington Wizards, leading with 9-3, followed respectively by the Brooklyn Nets (9-4) and the Chicago Bulls ( 8-4).

In other results, the Miami Heat beat the Utah Jazz 111-105, while the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 129-102 and the Indiana Pacers beat the Philadelpia Sixers 118-113.
