Author of a great season in Clermont, Adrian Grbic (23, 26 games and 17 goals in Ligue 2 this season) could progress to Ligue 1 during the next exercise. According to L’Equipe, two clubs have actually taken action for a transfer: Brest and Lens. The Breton club offered 5 million euros (+ 1 M € bonus), while the promoted lensois transmitted a slightly higher offer.
Both proposals were rejected by Clermont. The Auvergne club is waiting at least 10 million euros to yield its attacker. Clermont leaders rely on the transfer of Tino Kadewere to Lyon (€ 12 million excluding bonus) to justify their request.
Our colleagues add that Lorient, Saint-Etienne and Marseille have also shown an interest, but without going further so far. Asked precisely by the daily La Montagne about a possible departure to OM, Grbic estimated this Wednesday that it is still too early to take the plunge (see here).
