Clement Peeren’s Explosion finally surrendered after last performance in De Roma: ‘Why? You have nothing to do with that’

In late 2021, the band announced that the end was near and now it is. Many fans wanted to experience that farewell: ten farewell concerts were scheduled at De Roma in Antwerp in the last few weeks, each of which sold out in a very short time, for 20,000 tickets.

“There’s nothing we can do about it,” says frontman Clement Peerens after the latest performance. “If people want to come, they will come. We didn’t force them to buy a ticket with a Kalashnikov or hand grenades.”
