Cléber Machado spoke this Sunday (26), for the first time, about resigning from Rede Globo after 35 years working at the station.
The narrator said he was not disappointed with the company after the shutdown, in an exclusive interview with Milton Neves, on Domingo Esportivo, on Rádio Bandeirantes.
“If I could choose, I would work at Globo organizations until I retire. But I have nothing to complain about,” said Cléber.
“Of my 44-year career, I spent 35 years on TV Globo and 6 years on Globo radio. It’s been 41 years, so I can’t consider myself a failure guy. I left a nice mark. I’m not heavy or knocked down. I’m fine. There’s no little guy. It’s okay,” said the narrator.
He praised TV Globo and spoke about the changes in transmission. “It is an excellent company to work for, which has given me many opportunities and repercussions, that is unquestionable. In no time they came to me and said I was bad. And I want to believe that it was not an artistic restructuring”, he adds.
“Fortunately, I received many affectionate messages and I thank you from the heart”, and confesses: “I hope there is a way for us to walk and sing”.
