Cleb connects celebrities with custom videos for their fans

Cleb is the platform that connects fans with their favorite celebrities, through personalized videos. Users can request in their videos what they want to be said to them, be it a simple greeting, a congratulation, a message of encouragement. The Spanish startup has a consolidated position in the Spanish-speaking market, with hundreds of celebrities from both Spain and Latin America. Currently, Cleb has more than 400 famous people and has created more than 1,400 personalized videos through the requests of its users. “Celebrities make many people happy with unique experiences, and they have opened a door of digital relationships that will never close, and that channels the possibility that anywhere in the world a fan meets a character they admire or an athlete he follows ”, explains Jaime Pérez-Seoane, his CEO.

The Spanish startup has closed an initial round of financing of € 225,000 to boost its organic growth within the online world and expand its network of strategic contacts.

The platform, which allows users to request personalized videos from actors, celebrities, athletes or influencers for their loved ones, thus begins a new stage in which to continue with its expansion plan both nationally and internationally. The singer Beret, the actor Jesús Castro or the footballer Marc Bartra are already part of Cleb.

This new round of financing represents a key move to continue with the company’s expansion process and thus be able to continue expanding its capacity to offer new products to users so that they can improve their experience with Cleb and incorporate new markets.

Latin America is its immediate expansion territory for obvious reasons, but Cleb “will also be present in the Anglo-Saxon market through various products in the coming months,” explains Jaime Pérez-Seoane.

“The capital raised in this round is key to strengthen the team, give the next product launches and scale the marketing strategies of the platform. In addition, the partners that join can be classified without a doubt as strategic and help us to improve our position with regard to technology and talent ”, highlights the CEO of the company.

Cleb first hit the market at the end of 2019, and in June 2020 it underwent a redesign that allowed for its relaunch. Athletes, singers, actors, celebrities and influencers are now available on the Cleb platform so that users can congratulate and surprise their loved ones. Beret, Jesús Castro, Marc Bartra or Álvaro Arbeloa are some of the strategic contacts that can send that personalized greeting.

The money that each user disburses for these videos goes to the NGO that the character has chosen, turning this process into a form of collaboration with a good cause.

The CEO of Cleb expects to carry out another round of financing “in the next seven or eight months.”

Cleb also acts as a talent recruitment platform, especially allowing influencers a window in which to show themselves to the world and make themselves known to fans.
