The three days of Shrove Monday are fast approaching, with bookings at popular destinations soaring.
The cities with popular carnival events have their place of honor in this three-day period. The capital of the carnival, Patras, constantly displays new available properties for travelers on the rental platform.
The carnival of Xanthi, like every year and this year, will be preferred by many Halloween lovers. Occupancies are at high levels and shopkeepers are waiting for it as much as possible to get a breath of liquidity.

“The cities that traditionally have large carnival events such as Patra and Xanthi, there is a pandemonium of demand. Those who rushed to book something in time managed to do so, but there are still many who call to ask if something is available. There is a demand for Patras, Xanthi, Nafplio, Ioannina, Trikala and Lamia”, highlighted the travel agent, Yiannis Tsompanakis, speaking to MEGA.
“Naoussa and Kozani are not missing from the interest lists, however many are also looking for escapes abroad”, he added.
