At the beginning of the 2000s, the ASC Rapid Kapfenberg in the Mürz regional league that you are able to achieve a lot more with young, talented and aspiring young players. Which was not surprisingly the case. For only two years (08/09 and 09/10) you stay in the lower division North B, and then it goes up to the upper division North. There, too, the “youngsters” succeed in putting their horsepower on the road or they can assert themselves there for 6 seasons. In the summer of 2016 there will be a “class correction”, which means that the next generation will have to deal with the ULNB again after relegation. The Rapidler are currently in use there for the 5th year in a row. The shape curve is on the rise. In autumn 2019 you were at the top of the table. But for known reasons the entire season was canceled. But that was no reason for the young Kapfenbergers to bury their heads in the sand. Because currently the team of coach Karl Heinz Kubesch with 21 points from 9 games, one game less played, can be found in the promising second place in the table.
