At its head, Tristan Wojciechowski, 20 years old, student in school teaching.

“We are affected by the preservation of biodiversity, pollution being more and more present”, he explains.

Raising awareness about environmental protection is therefore the focus of these young people. Made up of around twenty members, the structure is nevertheless open to all.

She hopes to mobilize many volunteers on Saturday near the river and the La Clappe waterfall, a place too often distorted by the presence of waste of all kinds, such as cans, plastic bags or even pieces of scrap metal. .

One meeting per month

“This will be our second event, poursuit Tristan Wojciechowski. The first took place in Figanières. Over time, we hope to reach other municipalities in the territory of Dracénie.” The team even goes so far as to consider one event per month.

On November 18, it will therefore be up to the Dracénois to respond to the association’s call. The opportunity to act in favor of nature with family, friends or neighbors around, in particular, the “Vine by bike” route, very popular with walkers and cyclists.

The start will be given at 9:30 a.m., from the La Clappe car park, where the section of the “Vigne à vélo” which leads to the hamlet of Rebouillon begins. Trash collection will extend until 1 p.m.

“The equipment will be provided, except gardening gloves, which are necessary for collecting waste”specifies the volunteer.

A next meeting is already scheduled for the end of December.
