A man died on Sunday evening due to an accident at the Vlisco factory on the Binnen Parallelweg in Helmond. According to a police spokeswoman, the victim had an unfortunate fall during cleaning work and was discovered by two colleagues with whom he was working.
At around 10:30 p.m., emergency services were called for resuscitation, but that assistance was to no avail. The victim was found in a pool of blood.
Because the police assumes an industrial accident, the Dutch Labor Inspectorate has been called in. He is launching an investigation.
