SONG NEWS — The Sanggau Regency Health Service (Dinkes) carried out environmental cleaning around the Health Office area, Saturday 16 December 2023. The cleanup was carried out in response to a complaint from the Acting Governor of West Kalimantan Harisson who discovered the presence of larvae of the Aedes aegypti mosquito which causes dengue hemorrhagic fever (DBD) which was reported by the team Ministry of Health and West Kalimantan Provincial Health Office in the Sanggau Health Office area last Friday 15 December 2023.
Secretary of the Sanggau District Health Service, Najori, explained that the environmental conditions of the health service currently have no problems and massive cleaning has been carried out, especially locations that have the potential to become mosquito nests and breeding larvae.
“We immediately followed up by cleaning the environment in the office. “In general, conditions are safe and clean,” he said, Saturday 16 December 2023.

When asked about how far the Sanggau Regency Government had handled the extraordinary incident of dengue hemorrhagic fever (KLB DBD), Najori explained that his party had taken steps in accordance with the procedures given. In fact, several times the Acting Regent Yohanes Ontot went directly to the field to take steps to prevent and treat dengue fever, both in the form of outreach, cleaning the environment, and even sprinkling Abate in places where mosquitoes breed.
