CLC defends itself after third vaccination to its president: there have been four other cases in the clinic | National

The Las Condes Clinic (CLC) responded, through an extensive document, to the Metropolitan Health Seremi after a health summary by inoculation with a third dose Pfizer to the chairman of the board, Alejandro Gil, who had already completed his vaccination program with two doses of Sinovac.

In the text, published by T13, it is requested first of all to nullify the measure of a summary, arguing that the clinic “has complied health legislation current”.

It also specifies that there “Legal vices” in the formulation of charges, since the alleged infractions are not clearly detailed.

Likewise, they affirm that the clinic has “complied with the regulations associated with vaccination against covid-19 and, in the case of being considered a possible infringement, this has been of very little importance ”.

“In the event that the authority decides to apply a sanction, it will be unfounded because the Administration itself (Minsal) is ready to implement, as soon as possible, the application of a third dose to the national population ”, they add.

In any case, the most striking thing is that, in its defense, the CLC affirms that Gil’s case is not an isolated event, since there have been other four cases where three doses were applied of vaccines against Covid-19, which has already been “duly informed to the health authority.”

“The truth is that regarding these cases, in which the health authority was also administered and informed of the application of a third dose of vaccine, the official response was to monitor and study the situation, but not the opening of a sanitary summary as untimely happens now ”, they emphasize.

In this sense, the clinic’s argument points to a change of criterion “abysmal, as the authority, in similar cases, has acted in a diametrically opposite way in the exercise of its public authority.”
