The deputy for the VAMOS party, Claudia Ortiz, questioned in the TVX program that the country is prepared to absorb the more than 11 thousand positions that will be cut from public institutions next year.

According to the General Budget Project, it is planned that more than 11 thousand positions will be cut in different State institutions. In this regard, Representative Ortiz stated that, to be more efficient for the State, there must be a technical study of what the positions are. that is needed in each institution to be able to function and meet its objectives, “but another thing is simply to cut, because I need to cut, because it is no longer enough for me.”

In the Health sector, there will be more than 3,700 positions that the Government will cut for next year according to the 2025 Budget project.

“Is our economy prepared to absorb 11,000 people in the private sector who are already going to stop working in the public sector? Is the national economy prepared for that? “What are the criteria with which these positions are going to be eliminated?” questioned Deputy Ortiz.

Adding to this the fact that the Government is going to freeze the ranks of the Health and Education sector, this has generated strong questions from the affected sectors and the opposition political class.
