Claudia de Breij can win the NS Audience Award with the biography of Princess Amalia. Amalia it is one of the best-selling books of the last year and is therefore automatically nominated for the award.
The other candidates are The witch of Limbricht van Susan Smith, the night shift by Esther Verhoef, Wandering track by Suzanne Vermeer, The children of fortune by Annejet van der Zijl e Master your mindset van Michael Pilarczyk.
Verhoef has already won the award: in 2011 he received the NS Public Prize for his novel Already seen. She has also been nominated several times. Vermeer had been nominated twice before and Van der Zijl once. It is the first nomination for Smit and Pilarczyk.
