The official had arrived at the Directorate of Legal Medicine in January last year, after Carlos Valdés presented his resignation on December 20, 2018. Valdés left the institution due to the scandal over alleged inaccuracies when revealing the data in front of the forensic examinations of the case of controller Jorge Enrique Pizano, who died on November 8, 2018 and had sensitive information about the Odebrecht case.
Valdés would have given incorrect information in the face of evidence of a towel that was initially said to have Pizano’s blood. A year not without controversies

The party, which was consistent with the Legal Medicine manuals, was rejected by criminal lawyers.
