Bronnbach. A benefit concert to collect donations for refugees from the war in Ukraine will take place on Friday, April 8th at 6 p.m. in the Joseph Hall of the Bronnbach Monastery. The organizer is the “Welcome to Wertheim” association. Mayor Markus Herrera Torrez has taken on the patronage.

Various musicians could be won for the program, which was organized by Hans-Peter Otterbach: The first is the “Onyx Piano Duo” from Würzburg, consisting of Jonas Gleim and Marie-Thérèse Zahnlecker. Together they want to raise awareness of the infinite possibilities of expression on the piano.
This is followed by a lecture by the South Korean musician Jiyeon Kim on the cello. She studied in Vienna, Hanover and Mainz, among other places. She has received numerous awards as a soloist and chamber musician. She is accompanied by Frédéric Otterbach on the grand piano. Otterbach was born in Crailsheim in 1998 and grew up in Wertheim. He studies at the University of Music in Würzburg. He has placed an emphasis on chamber music. He has already taken part in several master classes and twice received a scholarship from the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. Violinist Ibrayim Bairam-Ali will enchant the audience on the violin.

The conclusion is formed by a few pieces from the work “The Little Prince” by the former Würzburg music professor Andras Hamary.
Admission to the concert is free, donations go to support refugee work in Wertheim.
