Florida Mayhem ranks 7th in our Overwatch League 2021 power rankings.
In 7th place on our Overwatch League 2021 power leaderboard is the new Florida Mayhem roster. The team kept some of their old players and added fresh blood from other Overwatch League teams, as well as a new Overwatch Contenders recruit.
Florida Mayhem 2021 roster preview
Tank:
Beom-jun “Gargoyle” Lee Min-seok “OGE” Son
Beom-jun “Gargoyle” Lee remains the Florida Mayhem off-tank. Last season, he helped the team place 2nd in the May scrum tournament and 4th in the 2020 Overwatch League playoffs in North America.
Min-seok “OGE” Son is the new main player of the Florida Mayhem tanks. This is his third shot in the Overwatch League, after a year with Dallas Fuel and another with Los Angeles Gladiators. These two seasons have been complicated for OGE, which has failed to surpass 5th place in any league tournament.

Support:
Nam-jin “Gangnamjin” Kang Sung-jun “SLIME” Kim
Florida Mayhem’s line of support, like the tanks, includes a former player from Florida and a new one from the Overwatch League. Nam-jin “Gangnamjin” Kang will stay with the team for one more season, following his strong performance in the Overwatch League 2020 season and his dominance of the Overwatch Contenders with RunAway.
Joining Gangnamjin is Sung-jun “SLIME” Kim, a main support player and also a former member of RunAway. SLIME played for the Vancouver Titans in the 2019 Overwatch League season, reaching 2nd place in the playoffs. He then changed teams to join the Seoul Dynasty and managed to reach 2nd place again in the Grand Finals Playoffs. The two-time Overwatch League runner-up now joins Florida Mayhem for the 2021 season.

DPS:
Sang-bum “BQB” Lee Jun-ki “Yaki” Kim Seung-hun “Checkmate” Baek
Sang-bum “BQB” Lee and Jun-ki “Yaki” Kim are two historic Florida Mayhem players. BQB joined the squad in 2018 and stayed with the Mayhem despite falling last in the 2019 Overwatch League regular season. Yaki joined the following year, as the team redeemed themselves and finished 4th in the 2020 Overwatch League playoffs in North America.
Florida Mayhem’s new DPS player this season is Seung-hun “Checkmate” Baek. He previously starred in Contenders, placing 4th in Overwatch Contenders 2020 Season 1: Korea with BATTLICA. The 19-year-old has no previous Overwatch League experience but impressed the Florida Mayhem in their open trials for DPS players.

Classement Power Florida Mayhem 2021
Florida Mayhem has taken risks this season. They’ve released most of their old lineup, which managed to reach 4th place in the 2020 Overwatch League Playoffs in North America. However, they’ve recruited two of the best players in the League: OGE and SLIME, as the team’s main tank and main support player, respectively. On the DPS line, Checkmate has yet to show his worth on the League.
It’s time to tear it up.
