The toll of today’s accident (Tuesday 21 September) on the Alba ring road is one dead and one wounded. For reasons still to be ascertained, two vans headed for the Langa capital collided.

In the impact, a vehicle remained on the roadway, the other was thrown into the adjacent fields. The driver driving the latter van, a 21-year-old young man who lived in the Turin area, died instantly. He was traveling for work. The other, injured, was transported to the hospital. There would also be a third vehicle involved.
The 118 intervention was immediate with the helicopter rescue, the fire brigade and the municipal police, still in place also to direct the traffic of the ring road which remains closed.
