The last Prague derby had everything. Goals, twists, emotions and an amazing atmosphere. In the end, both teams were happy with the draw, which was probably the best for both teams under the current conditions. After the match, however, there was also a clash between Slavia fans and Jan Kuchta, who played for Slavia but now works on the other side of the river. The press spokesman of the Letenskýs explained how the meeting took place. Jaroslav Tvrdík from Slavia unequivocally condemns the threats.
Jan Kuchta is not a favorite among Slavia Prague fans. In the past, he scored important goals for the Stavros, but then he got to Sparta through Russia and now leads Letenské. After the last Prague derby (3:3), the productive striker came into contact with Slavia fans, who met him when leaving the stadium.
From the mouths of the supporters of the second unit, big insults were flying towards Kucht. Everything was eventually calmed down by the Prague police, who even arrested one person. “After the match, when Slavist fans were leaving, a conflict occurred directly in front of the entrance to the stadium. One of the participants was restricted in his personal freedom on the spot,” Police spokesman Richard Hrdina told TN.cz
And how did the whole meeting come about? Sparta’s press spokesman Ondřej Kasík explained this to our editors. “A group of Slavist fans had to stay at the stadium longer than usual and our players simply left the stadium at the same time.”
Jaroslav Tvrdík also commented on the whole event, who wishes for decent behavior in stadiums. “Matches of this nature also involve great emotions. However, I must unequivocally condemn any threat of physical violence. Such things do not belong in football” said the chairman of the board of Slavia for the website TN.cz
