VIVA National – Central Command Police military (Danpuspom) TNI Rear Admiral (Laksda) Edwin said that Denpom 01-IX/Kupang allegedly received an attack first by unscrupulous police officers so that a commotion ensued.
Members of Denpom 01-IX/Kupang with members of the Regional Police NTT was involved in a clash during a futsal match at Gor Oepoi, Kupang City, last Wednesday 19 April 2023.

When the score was tied at 4-4, the situation heated up because the fans of the two teams cheered and jeered each other. Then the TTS P and K futsal team scored a goal and won 5-4. This condition then made the situation even hotter. One of the supporters of the NTT Polda team took to the field.
“And at that time the security team carried out by three members of Denpom IX/Kupang dispelled the supporters because they feared they would create riots on the ground. At the same time, the security guard and Denpom IX/Kupang were suddenly attacked from behind. allegedly carried out or carried out by one of the elements from the National Police, supporters of the NTT Regional Police ranaka team,” he told reporters, Friday 21 April 2023.
