Eritrean groups clash in Israel
Tel Aviv: Conflict between supporters and opponents of the government in the African country of Eritrea. More than 100 people were injured in the clash in Tel Aviv, Israel. It is reported that the police arrested 39 people in the incident. The condition of eight people injured in the attack is serious. It is reported that around 30 Israeli policemen were also injured.
Protesters tried to storm a pro-government event organized by the Eritrean embassy, which led to the clash. The protestors who reached the venue of the program crossed the police barricades and clashed. As the conflict escalated, the police used tear gas. In the meantime, the Israeli authorities stated that they will take measures including deporting the Eritreans who created the conflict.
