Clash between Anm and FdI over Arianna Meloni, the prosecutors: “Dangerous attacks. They want to delegitimize us”. Delmastro: “A stance that is surprising”

There is a clash between the National Association of Magistrates and the Italian Democratic Party (ANM) over the alleged conspiracy raised by Il Giornale against Arianna and Giorgia Melonirelaunched by the majority party, with the Prime Minister in the lead.

Words that the FdI representative doesn’t like Andrea Delmastro. “The ANM’s tough stance against Sallusti’s article on Arianna Meloni is surprising”, said the Undersecretary of Justice who had accused the left “of rancor, anger and hatred” and hinted at a notice of investigation for influence peddling.

“Sallusti – Delmastro emphasizes – has reported true and incontrovertible data regarding the unfounded insinuations and slanders fueled by the left and certain journalism. In the same way Sallusti has recalled that in other times, such news were given not to tell a fact, but to determine another”. “The conclusions of Fratelli d’Italia on these days are clear: it is necessary to stop trying to pull the judiciary by the jacket. A reaffirmation of the independence of the judiciary that no one should complain about”, concludes the exponent of FdI.

Forza Italia also intervened on the matter with George Mulè. “By now this has become a country where you don’t even wait to be registered as a suspect or for a notice of investigation to launch accusations, obviously in defiance of the presumption of innocence: we have reached the barbarity of the pre-pre-notice of investigation”. Thus the vice president of the Chamber.

While on fb the former governor of Liguria John Toti, arrested on May 7th on charges of corruption and under house arrest, he defends Sallusti.

“There is no doubt that director Sallusti writes well-founded news on the front page of ‘Il Giornale’. His experience and professionalism are beyond doubt. I am surprised by the reaction of the parties. Arianna Meloni is accused, by politicians for now, we will see if also by the judiciary, of having dealt with nominations and designations at the top of state-owned companies. But this is the point!”. So Toti.

“Whoever wins the elections chooses who runs the country’s ganglia and, if he makes the wrong choice, the voters will judge him at the ballot box and no one else! We want to change the laws that Parliament has culpably approved and restore dignity to the popular will. So there will be no investigations to be outraged about. Let’s start looking at the moon and not the finger”, he concludes.
