Claro video premieres new exclusive series: “Sangre Llama Sangre”

Tuesday, October 8, 2024.- This series promises to captivate viewers with its intriguing plot and narrative, which explores the dark secrets and family tensions in a remote town in Mexico. “Sangre llama Sangre” is a co-production between Claro video and Sony Pictures Television.

After 30 years of an enviable life in the city of Monterrey, María, a renowned stockbroker, returns to her hometown. The pretext for his return is to renovate the house he inherited from his grandmother Teresa, with the aim of converting it into a country house where he can spend time with his family.

Traveling with María is her husband Richard, a veterinarian by profession, her son Jimmy, a teenager with a great future in basketball, and Jocho, her dachshund.

Upon arriving at Sierra de la Niebla, their town, they are welcomed by Paola, María’s cousin, and her daughter Mía. Although the relationship between the cousins is apparently cordial, it is marked by latent tension. Paola has always lived under the shadow of María’s good fortune, while her own life has been full of setbacks.

María and her family not only face the ghosts of the past, but also their own personal problems. María escaped from Monterrey after a financial scam that left her bankrupt. Richard suffers the aftermath of a car accident and Jimmy struggles with the pressures of fulfilling his potential as an athlete.

It is not long before their stay in Sierra de la Niebla becomes disturbing: the animals begin to act strangely, black mold appears for no apparent reason, and the paranoia of the inhabitants towards María, the granddaughter of the “witch” Teresa.

An evil pact seems to be the origin of all the dark events that threaten to destroy his family.

Sangre llama Sangre is one more example that Claro video continues to explore new genres and with this project offers an attractive proposal that satisfies the needs of its viewers.
