The recently deceased racer and occasional presenter of the British television show Top Gear received her own half-hour special episode, which was an honor for her. Something happened to him that would normally be completely unthinkable – the original trio of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May returned to it. The Top Gear team stated this on their website.

The three moderators, along with much of the production team, including one of Andy Wilman’s showheads, left after a rift between Clarkson and one of the producers, Oisin Tymon. Since then, moderators and Top Gear have lived their own separate lives.
–
A special episode dedicated to Schmitz showed the current moderators on the screen, namely Freddie Flintoff, Chris Harris and Paddy McGuinness, to whom the original trio joined. Also joined are Rory Reid and Matt LeBlanc, who were moderators until recently, along with Sabine Schmitz, and guests, including former Formula One rider David Coulthard.

“We send sincere condolences to our partner Sabine Klaus and her family, whose loss is much greater than ours. We had to pay special tribute to Sabine because she was a great part of the Top Gear family, and we will never forget the joy that working with her brought us, ”commented Topre’s chief producer Clare Pizey.
–
“Sabine has been a part of Top Gear for more than 15 years and it’s no surprise that many people who worked with her forgot everything else to be part of that honor,” added producer Alex Renton.
