“Clarifying Social Security Contributions and Health Insurance for Part-Time Work in Retirement”

Hallo,

I have been in retirement since May 1st, 2023. I have private health insurance and receive a subsidy of 8.1% of my pension from the pension insurance.

Will take up a part-time job subject to social security contributions from June 1st, 2023. It is clear that I have no deductions for pension and unemployment insurance. But the employer has to pay his share.

My question: what about the contributions for health insurance? Does the employer also have to pay his share of e.g OK afford? And what about my share, is there also a subsidy from the employer?

Thanks very much!
