Clarification in life deprivation case Myrtle Bons – Suriname Herald

A man arrested as a suspect in the murder of 32-year-old Myrtle Bons admitted today that he committed the offense. Police investigations have shown that the reason for the murder of the woman must be sought in the relational sphere.

The man had an extramarital relationship with her, reports the Public Relations department of the police. Police had previously reported that the woman left her home on October 5 to write her children off a school in Houttuin.

The 32-year-old woman’s lifeless body was found in a flooded sand pit in the Brokopondo district on October 14.
