Al-Marsad newspaper: The Ministry of Interior Agency for Civil Status revealed that in the event that the national identity card is not renewed, a fine of 100 riyals will be calculated from the date of its expiry, revealing that the imposed fine cannot be canceled.
She explained that the beneficiary can renew the national identity 180 days before its expiry, noting that if it was renewed even one day before its expiry, and the date of its issuance and receipt was set days after the expiry date, the fine would not be imposed.
The Civil Affairs indicated that the issuance of the national identity card after its renewal takes a maximum of 14 working days, and the beneficiary will receive a text message when his card arrives at the office.
