The singer announced this Friday the upcoming release of her third opus, My bloodfrom which she reveals two extracts.
Clara Luciani is back with a bang. After long months of silence, the singer announced this Friday the upcoming release of a third album (My bloodexpected on November 15), as well as two tracks taken from it: Romance et Everything for me.
This second title, whose clip will be released this Friday at noon, evokes the upheaval that the 32-year-old singer experienced in her personal life: the birth of her son, in September 2023.
“You’re my America, you’re my cinema / My rollercoaster, my hallelujah / You’re dynamite in my dead calm / Before you I almost didn’t exist.”
“It was a real emotional challenge,” he recalls Clara Luciani to BFMTV. “Especially at the end, when I had to go to the studio and I was like this,” she laughs, waving her arm to represent her pregnant belly. “I was recording lying on the couch.”
“A super moving moment in my life”
“And at the same time, they are great memories. Everything for meit’s a voice that I recorded when I was very pregnant, I didn’t have quite the same voice, and I find it really charming to tell myself that everything happened at a super moving moment in my life. I will always listen to this record thinking about all that.”
Clara Luciani also reveals the cover of My blooda simple natural portrait. A choice that imposed itself on her: “I arrived on the day of the shooting and there were lots of sequined, velvet, magnificent clothes, just waiting for me, and I hadn’t slept all night because I have a little baby.”
“I told everyone: ‘I wouldn’t be able to fit into these costumes, they don’t look like me anymore’. I had a kind of rejection, I wanted to go back to something super natural.”
This return of Clara Luciani comes after the triumph of her album Heartcertified triple platinum and crowned album of the year 2022 at the Victoires de la musique. The singer will soon defend My blood on stage, with a tour which she will kick off in Amiens on January 18. Her Paris date, on March 6 at the Accor Arena, is already sold out.
