On January 14 the actress Clara Alvarado returns to Lara in Madrid to be part of the THE CALL. The Extremaduran artist already participated in this production in 2015 in the role of María Casado. In addition to this, Clara has participated in musicals such as HÉRCULES or LA BELLA HELENA at the Merida Festival and in Madrid, directed by Ricard Reguant, and in television series such as CUÉNTAME or LA CASA DE PAPEL.
Currently the cast of THE CALL has Nerea Rodríguez, Lucía Gil, Marta Sango, Erika Bleda, Roko, Marta Valverde, Richard Collins Moore Y God’s band.
In Segovia, in the summer of 2013, a nun named Bernarda de los Arcos arrives at the Christian Camp “La Brújula” with the intention of saving the camp with her religious songs. Sister Milagros, a young woman with many doubts, remembers that she loved “Presumed Involved”. And María and Susana, two punished teenagers, dream of succeeding with their group “Suma Latina”. But when one night God appears to Mary, singing to Whitney Houston, everything begins to change.
THE CALL has been delighting the Madrid public since 2013 in the Lara Theater, having started as an underground musical in the theater hall to go on to become a success with the public and critics, with 13 BroadwayWorld Audience Awards and a successful film version released in 2017 and starring its original cast, which earned it five nominations for the Goya Awards and participation in different international film festivals.
At present he is also on tour in Spain, reaping such success in some cities that he is scheduled to return to them soon. He has also had international productions in Argentina, Mexico and Chile.
