According to Russia’s TASS news agency, the Russian Embassy in Korea said that Russian Ambassador to Korea Andrei Kulik conveyed this position to the Korean side when he was summoned to the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the possibility of arms trade between North Korea and Russia.
The Russian embassy explained, “The Russian side has made it clear to its Korean partners that the speculative claims amplified by the U.S. and Korean media have no basis.”
He continued, “Russia is fully complying with all of its international obligations, including those related to the development of mutually beneficial relations with North Korea, our friendly neighbor and long-time partner.”
