Claimed to save battery, this is an Oppo phone that will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Chipset

TRIBUNNEWS.COM, BEIJING – Oppo will pin chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 for device Oppo Reno 8 Pro.

According to a report from the microblogging site Weibo, Oppo Reno 8 Pro will use Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 The SoC built on Samsung’s 4nm manufacturing node promises up to 20 percent higher GPU performance and up to 30 percent faster AI processing performance than the previous generation.

The Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset is not the only silicon processor that the Oppo Reno 8 Pro uses, but the Oppo Reno 8 series will also use the company’s self-developed MariSilicon X ISP chip that debuted earlier this year for the Oppo Find X5 Pro device.

Reported from Gizmochina, Sunday (22/5/2022) Oppo claims the chip can take the capabilities of the Reno 8 series cameras to the next level.

This chip can optimize images, increase system computing power, and enhance lowlight photos.

In addition, it also offers real-time AI computing to improve power efficiency and save smartphone battery.

As for the other details of Oppo Reno 8 Pro i.e. the device will sport a triple camera setup on the back and will feature a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display on the front.

The Oppo Reno 8 Pro will be available in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB memory configurations. The available color options include Clear Sky Blue, Slightly Drunk, and Night Tour Black.
